It only took a year, but it is done.

These are .wmv files and you need Windows Media Player to play them. Even the smaller file is still huge for those of you on dial-up. If you are having trouble in Netscape, you might want to try Explorer and save file with "save target as", if you are still having trouble, sorry, that was the extent of my technical knowledge.

Thank you to all of my video betas, especially RG-2, who gave me the idea and then hounded me unendingly because she knew I needed it.

How this Vid happened:

Once upon a time there were two fans. Each of these lovely women had a family and were very happy.

But these ladies had a secret. One liked to watch and read stories about a tall blue-eyed cop with a receding hairline and his adorable anthropologist sidekick. But she had hardly anyone to talk to about it.

The second fan liked to read and write about a gorgeous immortal and a really old guy that were so obviously soulmates. But she had no one in real life with whom she could share her secret hobby.

The Fates felt sorry of them and brought them together one day at a Con. Within minutes of this historic meeting, people around them were asking if they had come together, or 'were they sisters?'. Yes, the cackling was in harmony and all was right in our world.

Until the moment the first fan said, "You know, there just aren't enough underage Blair stories" and the second fan said "Blair who?" Well, much discussion and explanations later (including the loan of 65 hours of episodes) a deal was struck.

The second fan, who actually had talent and wrote, would create a birthday story for the first lady. In exchange the first fan would use her incredible computer knowledge (cough, cough) to create a Highlander songvid. How hard could it be?

That was a year ago, Rentgirl 2 (everyone needs a good pseudonym) has written not one, but seven stories about Jim and Blair. Long juicy stories and short obnoxious ones.

And finally, finally… Rentgirl one has tamed the mighty Premiere Monster and painfully birthed…A 'The Sentinel' vid…. Oops.

The moral of this story: Rentgirl one is a sneaky bitch who loves Jim and Blair. lol

But don't feel too sorry for RG-2, the Highlander vid is fourth on the list behind a SG-1 idea and maybe another Sentinel vid. Hmm, but I have this idea for Firefly that is really cool too…
